Sometimes I'll stop by just for some inspiration. -- Ethan Kay Stopped by to see Mr. Dan today,,he is such a helpful guy. Always there to answer any type question,,and order whatever it is you need if he does not have it in his stock.Thank YOU for making our visit pleasant,,and we will return. We bought a plane & helicopter and they are awesome,,11-10-2012 -- Jeff & Debbie I have lived in Jacksonville for about four years now and I've just started gaming as hobby. About two years ago, I dropped on for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The shop owner was very helpful and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store as a good place to relax, game, purchase items, and learn up on a new hobby -- Aaron The hobby chest has a great selection and if it isn't in stock Mr. Dan will get it for you expeditiously. However, I have been doing business with the Hobby Chest for about two years now and have needed a good deal of patients when dealing with Mr. Dan's attitude. Mr. Dan has, on more than one occasion, been rude and all mighty toward me. When asked a question about something that most would consider a simple answer too, Mr. Dan has rolled his eyes and huffed at it as if he were too good to answer. I don't know if maybe I have portrayed a different person toward him than I thought I was but in all my time of getting into hobbies all that I asked was for a minimal amount of advice and courteousness. After all I would do the same for anyone else. Thanks for doing the Minimum Hobby Chest. I hope others find you more hospitable in the future. -- Topher The hobby chest is a great way to explore different hobbies, whether you're into building models, painting them, fighting them, airsoft, flying them, driving them etc. Mr. Dan (owner) is a really good guy. He's really knowledgeable in the business and will lead you in the right direction. I myself visit the hobby chest 2-3 times a week just to play Warhammer 40,000 with friends I have met there. If you're looking for a good time, or just something different to do for a change, the hobby chest is the way to go. I'll see you there, Joe -- Joe Marshall A unique jewel among the glut of places selling mass produced Chinese manufactured toys (I have nothing but respect and fear for the Chinese). A harbor of unique imaginative treasures all garnered for our enjoyment under one benevolent shop owner. -- Hal Messec |
